structure
In Year 1, you’ll start by learning the essential etiquettes of being a student and exploring key aspects of Islamic theology and beliefs. You’ll dive into the fiqh of purification and prayer and study the life of the Prophet ﷺ through Sirah. Tajwid will also be covered at a level appropriate to the class.
Year 2 builds on the solid foundation you attained in Year 1, helping you connect more deeply with the Qur’an. You’ll study the fiqh of Zakah and Sawm, as well as the conduct of a Muslim. You’ll be introduced to the Tafsir of Surah Yasin to help you deepen your connection with the Qur’an. You’ll also explore Islamic history and have the option to study practical topics like marriage and raising children.
