Rabia Institute presents local individuals and businesses with an opportunity to contribute towards the success of one of the most pioneering initiative of its time.
The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: “When a person dies, his works end, except for three: on-going charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” [Muslim, Tirmidhi]Actions, which assist educational missions, are no doubt encompassed within the above definition. The building of schools, support of running costs and donating of reading materials all for the benefit of students of knowledge are highly virtuous acts.
Alhamdulillaah, Rabia Institute is the result of a pioneering effort to establish an institute of learning focused on the preservation of Islamic thought and culture in the context of British society. Our distinctive approach takes into consideration changing social norms and lifestyles of British Muslims. A fundamental element of our methodology is therefore based upon making Islamic education both accessible and engaging. At a time when Muslims are facing a global identity crisis, Rabia Institute seeks to reintroduce the sacred sciences to a generation facing extraordinary challenges. Our Philosophy is simple: With the help of the Almighty, we will do everything within our power to support the students of sacred knowledge in their noble quest
With your dua’s and support we hope to establish the Dabbagh Press. Taking its name from the Ghawth of his time Sayyadi ‘Abd al-‘Aziz al-Dabbagh (May Allaah have mercy on him), the vision behind Dabbagh Press is to transform the vision of Rabia Institute into a reality. Quite often one of the key barriers inhibiting students from studying the classic texts penned by the intellectual giants of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah, is the financial cost of acquiring the textbooks. In order to alleviate the burden from students we have decided to print our own publications to be used in the institute. This will allow us to offer the essential reading materials to students at a significantly subsided cost. As with any project we have ever initiated, this will never be for any commercial or personal gain.
